Cold late January, Temperature Report, Friday Morning Lows.

Cold Late January Day, January 29th.

Well another Cold January Day across Wisconsin, as a Arctic High Pressure sat over the area, Thursday, Highs barely made it into the single Digits for highs, I recorded a high of 5.F above zero, Under Sunny Skies. This made for a Cold night Thursday Night into Friday Morning, Temperatures dipped well below Zero in some spots Middle 20s below Zero were reported! This was under Clear Skies, and a Bright, Near Full Moon! The Moon was quite noticeable Bright! it is easy to see stuff at night with such a bright Moon, and snow cover! Here is a list of Reported lows Friday Morning.

The coldest reading came out of Minong, where a low of -24.F was reported! elsewhere temps were mainly in the teens Below Zero. The warmest location was Menomonie at -8.F High Friday made it into the Low to Mid teens, My high was 17.F, It was a Cool day but you can definitely tell the Sun is starting to rise higher in the sky, The sun has a Warmth to it not felt in earlier in this month, Also it stays light quite a bit later, Were gaining 2 minutes of light each day!

We got below zero for a short while. Nothing extreme like you all. I know what you mean about the snow pack. You can walk on top of it w/o falling in. :)
