my thoughts

Sunday will be a messy day, Temps will be in the low 30s north to the upper 30s and low 40s south, It could be partly cloudy at first then turning cloudy, a System with a warm front and trailing cold front will move in from the west this will give us a good chance at a Rain and snow Sunday, there could be a fair amount of accumulation, then the cold front will go though and it will turn to all snow by Sunday night. and be cooler just in time for Monday Be careful on the roads, Advisories and warnings for the 6 county area of in Western Wisconsin will be posted here.

Snowy and windy Thursday

Thursday a Warm front will be moving in from the southwest, this will bring snow with it, looks like snow will accumulate 1-2 inch's in the St Croix Falls,New Richmond,Hudson and Baldwin areas and 2-3 inch's look possible in the Menomonie,Cumberland,Barron Rice Lake and Chetek areas. We will have strong south breezes up to near 30MPH at times. so a windy snowy day coming up

There really is no real cold air to work with, temps will not be too bad, upper 20s in Polk,St Croix and Burnett counties while mid to upper 20s for Barron,Washburn and Dunn counties. This warm front will also bring us warm mild temps for the weekend, 40s look possible Sunday. with a mix a rain and snow also possible.

We will also have Dense Fog in the morning, then it will burn off, but It will be hazy with some fog all day due to the melting snow, most of the snow accumulation will be in southern St Croix and Dunn counties in the Menomonie and Baldwin areas where they could pick up 1 inch farther north, less then one inch.
