Rainy conditions Oct 29th.
A strong weather system effected our weather for the end of this week. Thursday this system brought moderate to heavy rain and mild temps brought up by strong southerly winds made the rain feel like a warm rain, Highs on Thursday were in the low 50s but actually temperatures overnight Thursday night actually raised instead of fell!
by Friday morning temps were in the mid 50s to 60, This was when highs topped out, Friday morning a rain band along a front moving north on the a spinning low pressure system brought strong South winds which lasted through the day, winds gusted over 40MPH at times. in many locations, this caused some minor tree damage, Most tree damage came from dead or weak trees, We had a small green weeping willow branch down, and a large 3 inch dead branch came down from a tree in my aunts lawn. our lights also flickered several times through the day from winds. As the low moved north is dragged in a cold front which past through in Friday afternoon, This was caused big temp drop Friday my Temperature went from 57.F Friday morning to 35.F at 9PM at night by this time it was windy raw and wet. This system also brought more rainfall to the area, many places pick up near if not over 1 inch of rain, My gauge reported 1.23" for the total system event.
It looks like now we will dry out a bit for Halloween but there still could be a stray shower and temps will be much cooler then Friday, highs only expected in the low to mid 40s.
