Another wet rainy system! Rainfall totals. impressive temp contrast

Rainy conditions Oct 22nd.

Another rainy system once again passed through the area bring widespread rainfall totals to our area which continues to help lakes and streams, Drizzle started late Tuesday Night, Wednesday morning, temps started out mild in the mid 40s, we had Moderate to even heavy showers through the area in the morning, most places picked up over a half inch of rain, some places even got over an inch. at my location I picked up 1.33" then by late Wednesday cooler air started filtering into the area, and by evening temps has fallen to the 30s through the area. This is really making for one wet October!

A low pressure system riding along a Strong stationary front South of our 6 county area is what brought our widespread rainfall, the temperature contrast between this front was very impressive, north of this front in our area were in the 40s for highs before falling into the upper 30s late in the day, some places in Northern Wisconsin highs were cool enough for snowfall, But south of the front in the southern Wisconsin in places like Madison and Milwaukee, highs were in the 70s today! That is hard to believe because my high was 45.F!

I have more weather to talk about, our next system comes at us Friday, This system will bring more rain and snow possible accumulating snows, I will have updates tomorrow in the afternoon.
