There is a slight risk of Severe Thunderstorms this afternoon. After showers this morning there should be breaks in the cloud cover allowing for the hemisphere to become unstable. Severe Thunderstorms are forecasted for form along and ahead of a passing cold front, the main threats with the severe storms will be large hail and damaging winds. communities most likely to see the severe weather will be west of a line from Wilson and Glenwood City north to Clayton and Hertel. also Very Heavy Rain is possible with this system some areas could get as much as 2 inches of rain across the area. Keep and eye out for Severe Thunderstorms today.
