Heavy Rain September11Th
Starting early this morning heavy rain showers and thunderstorms formed in Eastern Minnesota and moved parts of the area, then in the late morning hours another round of very heavy rain moved though. Some places got most rainfall amounts in one day then they have seen in months! it was a heavy long soaking rain that many corn fields and gardens needed!! not every location got the heavy rains, actually it looks like the highest rainfall totals were in southeastern Polk County and central Dunn county here is some rainfall totals across the area starting with Clayton. We got 1.56" inches of rain! here at Clayton, that's more then all of August's monthly total!!! Amery got 0.96" along with Menomonie. New Richmond reported 0.65" and up at Siren they got 0.27"
here is my forecast guess. I did something different. Instead of adding Saturday Nights forecast i added Sundays Forecast, hope every going to the Amery Fall Festival this weekend has a great time!
