Frost Overnight, Crops and Plants Unharmed. Warming Up This Week

Mums September 9Th

We had our first Frost of the season last night here at Clayton. The frost was light, and patchy. frost did not even form in our lawn, where buildings and trees kept it protected also, corn is unharmed so the growing season is still hanging on! as you can see in the photo above! Some places got quite cold though, Clayton ( my place ) had 39.F for the overnight low. Amery dipped all the way down to 35.F Osceola even cooler, they went down to 34.F. Rice Lake reported 36.F New Richmond reported 38.F. even down in the southern counties in got cold Menomonie reported 39.F Woodville was the coolest spot in the south, where it reached 34.F Hudson was the warmest spot in the whole area, they only went down too 43.F now for some northern reports Spooner reported 35.F and Siren reported 36.F so overall it was a cold night across the area.
here is my forecast guess. may get some good rainfall Thursday, and winds will be gusty Wednesday so enjoy Tuesdays sunshine!
