The SPC has issued a Slight Risk for severe thunderstorms across parts of the Upper Midwest for Thursday. This includes most of the central and eastern part of the local area. A slow moving cold front will push through east. Thunderstorms are expected to develop along this front in the afternoon. Storms could become severe with large hail, gusting winds, along with a tornado threat. Heavy rainfall is also a possbility. Stay tuned to local weather sorces for Thursday!
