Hot Sunday highs in the 90s with dewpoints in the 70s. Also severe storm effected Goodhue County with strong winds.

 Humid conditions in the bluffs North of Rochester Sunday Morning May 27th.

Sunday was a hot and humid day for the region as a very summer like warm front pushed through the area early in the morning and left us with sunny, hot and humid conditions. Dewpoints actually topped out in the lower 70s early in the morning before things dried out slightly. Many areas had their warmer temps of the season so far, 90s were widespread. Here at my location yesterday it was 93.F the 4th time it has been above 90.F and the 2nd time its been in the middle 90s. The warmest day so far goes to May 18th with when rose to 94.F
Highs Reported

Goodhue County storm.

Yesterday evening severe winds impacted parts of Goodhue County as a gust front pushed through the entire area. Storms influencing with this front enhanced the winds in some areas and at Cannon Falls there was a reported wind gust of 61MPH. No damage was reported.
