System Monday, minor snow accumulations likely, Then Cold.

Regional View.

A small system will move east late Sunday Night into Monday, Minor accumulations are likely. Arctic Air will pull south behind this system on Tuesday, this will make for a cold day Tuesday, Although it will be cold, Tuesday we should see Sunshine, I believe part of Wednesday will also bring us some sun, Wednesday will also be slightly warmer as temperature moderate.

Local View.

Accumulations.

With the small low pressure system Monday, I believe accumulations will be highest in the Central areas. where 2 to as much as 5" will be possible by Monday evening. Northern areas I believe 1" 3" is a good bet, While southern areas 1" 3" with up to 4" possible there, most of the snow on Monday will be earlier in the day and could be moderate at times, but it should be light snow or flurries by evening. Tuesday it will be Cold across the area, even with sunshine, highs will only be in the mid single digits! This will make for one cold Tuesday Night, Highs could fall into the teens and 20s below 0. Wednesday, will be mainly sunny at first with some clouds pulling in late, temps will moderate some, highs will be in the closer to the low teens. Daily forecast below.

Monday, Snow, Especially early, possible Moderate at times, before tapering some. Highs in the middle teens, Total system accumulations 2" 4" central areas, 1" 3" North. Monday Night. Colder, light snow still possible early otherwise Cloudy, Lows falling just below zero.

Tuesday, Cold, with cold winds, Sunny with highs in the mid single digits. Tuesday Night, Cold, likely the coldest night of the season so far, lows in the low teens below zero, Possible close to -20 in some locations.
