Well will have a much quieter next couple of days, a weak system will bring Minor snowfall Accumulations on Wednesday, Thursday looks partly Sunny, but dry, then Friday Arctic Air will settle in.

Snow will start Wednesday afternoon, and will be mainly light, Nothing heavy, Snowfall accumulations will also be light, 1-2" for southeast and Central areas, with an 1" or less everywhere else, highs wont be too bad for this time of year in the low 20s, Thursday, there may be some light snow early, otherwise we will be stuck in cloudy cover, so it will be cloudy, temps making it into the teens. This is no surprise but, New Years Day, Arctic Air settles in and it will be cold, with Mostly Sunny Skies and highs in the single digits, Lows falling to near -10.F daily forecast below.
Wednesday, Cloudy at first then light snow developing in the afternoon, Minor accumulations 1-2" Wednesday Night, light snow still possible early otherwise Cloudy with lows in the single Digits.
Thursday, Cloudy, possible a bit of clearing late in the day, Highs in the low teens. Thursday Night, lows falling to near 0, or just below.
Friday, Cold, Arctic Sunshine, highs in the single digits above Zero, with cold winds. Friday Night, Cold, Clear, with lows falling into lower to middle -10s below zero.

Good news is, Coldest part of the Arctic Air looks to be short lived, Saturday highs will moderate into the teens above zero with Sunshine, After Sunday the 5th, Highs seem to mainly be steady, with a small chance at snow, then Friday the 9th, The models show a better chance at snow, then the 11th, The models show a storm passing south, with that storm bring in Much Colder arctic air, More on this later.
