Weather map for Tonight, Saturday and Sunday
Warmer air will begin to move in from the west today with a warm front, as a system moves south from the north. Tonight the warm front and system will begin to push in, bring the chance for Snow and even freezing drizzle. The heaviest snows look like it will be in Eastern Washburn and Barron counties, I think accumulation there will be an 1" to 1.50 Maybe 2 inches if it's strong enough. Farther West I think mainly half inch to a inch. there might be some moderate snow in Washburn and Barron counties. Also with the Warm air Aloft, above the clouds there will some freezing drizzle, not much ice accumulations, temps will be steady or slowly rising tonight, as much needed warmer air flows into the area.
Saturday snow and freezing Drizzle will end, leaving mostly to cloudy to partly sunny skies. there may be a bit of a bite in the wind, Highs will be in the low to mid teens Saturday. Saturday night I think it will be Cloudy but then some clearing should take place, lows will in the low to mid single digits. Sunday We will really begin to feel the warmth! Skies may be partly sunny in some areas, but I think partly cloudy skies will be the main sky condition. Highs will be reaching the low to mid 20s, get ready for that!
There will be a chance of a January Thaw there will be a chance of highs in the low 30s Monday though Wednesday with even the chance for Sunshine, more on this later!
