Weathermap is based on the Models and my thinking at 10:13AM Wednesday, the outcome of this storm may be different then what you see here.
A fast moving Winter Storm will impact the entire 6 county area Thursday. accumulating snow is likely. Judging by the models it could become Heavy at times. snow accumulations I think at this time will be between 5 and 7 inches areas south of a line from Grantsburg to Sarona. a bit less north of there with 4 to 6 inches. I do think there will be some isolated spots that could get near 9 inches of snow. But I think most areas will see 5-7 to 4-6. it will also become windy, with northeast winds gusting to near 30MPH This will cause some blowing and drifting snow, Travle is not a good idea becuase high snow accumulations, windy conntintions and blowing and drifting snow all look likely Thursday and Thursday evening. Forcast below.
Today it will mainly be cloudy with highs apporching near 40.F enjoy it becuase it wont last.
Thursday, A very good chance of snow in the afternoon, May become Moderate to heavy later visibilities will be low with gusty northeast winds to near 30 MPH which will cause blowing and drifting snow. high temps in the upper 20s. Thursday Night, A very good chance of snow, Moderate to heavy at times, mainly early. lows cooling though the night, may end up just below or above zero. Snow accumulations by the time this storm ends will be between 4 to 7 inches. with some isolated spots up to 9 inches.
Friday Cooler, partly sunny with a bit of clearing. Highs in the upper teens. Friday Night, partly to mostly cloudy. lows just below zero for all areas.
