Nice for the weekend! messy on Monday?

weather map for Saturday, Saturday Night, Sunday and Sunday Night.

Tonight there is a chance of light freezing drizzle all across the area, it will not amount to that much, but still be careful on the roadways.

This weekend looks like it will be mild, and mostly dry. Saturday: we will have partly sunny to partly cloudy skies, There may be some left over freezing drizzle early but it will end. Looks like highs will make it into the upper 30s with some places reaching the 40s! before a cool front will move though, dropping temps down a bit, this front will move though sometime late in the day. Saturday Night: skies will be cloudier but should become partly cloudy later. The cool front will flow in some cooler air, our lows will drop into the mid teens above zero overnight.

Sunday: we should have partly cloudy to sunny skies! with a High pressure system nearby, even with the Sunshine, highs will not be as warm as Saturday will be, Expect highs to be in the low 30s across the areas, maybe even some mid 30s in warmer spots. Sunday Night: The beginning of a messy system will effect the area late Sunday Night, it looks as though there will be a slight chance of freezing rain late, with lows staying in the 20s.

looking ahead to Mondays System, a fairly strong system will effect the area, but most of this system will effect the area as plain rain. Right now it looks like it will start off as a mix of freezing rain or sleet, but as it warms up to near 40 it will then change over to all rain during the afternoon. This could cause flooding, because of this thick snowpack across the area, warm temps and rain will cause , rapid snowmelt, this could cause some flooding. this all depends on how much rain we get. This is something to watch closely, there is a chance that there may even be the *chance* for thunder with this, if the system is strong enough, more on Mondays system by Sunday.

I lost 0.4" since yesterday morning. I'm down to 21.3" on the ground. 42.8 degrees yesterday was fantastic... but really un-February.

You still have 21.3" on the ground, Nathan?!
