Severe Weather/ Odd morning clouds!

Clouds July 16th Clayton,WI

Many people woke up to odd clouds this morning across the area, I had some of my family call to make sure I was taking pictures of them, These clouds were like Nothing I ever seen before, My family also said they had Never seen clouds like these, many people saw swirling clouds and odd cloud formations as a storm front moved into the area.

Later there was some Severe Thunderstorms which produced hail just to my south, Reports include some 1.00 inch hail north of New Richmond. and 0.75 inch hail in Downing. Here We got just some heavy rain, which only amounted to 0.18 Some places in a line from Star Prairie to Sand Creek saw as much as nearly 3 inch's of Rain!

tomorrow there is should be a good chance at some more rain, I know we need the rain! some of this rain cloud be heavy, Some storms may also become Severe so watch out for these

Video of some loud thunder after a close strike just as a heavy cell moved in from the southwest.

Yesterday evening a Severe Thunderstorm fired up in Burnett and Washburn counties. near Minong in Webb Lake, power outages were reported from strong winds also very heavy rain! You could see the storm top and light very well down here in Southeast Polk County even though this storm was about 50 miles to my north! it was pretty cool.
