Severe Thunderstorms began moving into the area during the afternoon. they started moving into Western Burnett county. where they produced 0.75 inch hail just south of Grantsburg. then they continued moving southeast. which caused the NWS to issued a Severe Thunderstorm warning for Polk County including Clayton. hail the size of 0.75 inch was reported covering the ground in Frederic. the storm then got stronger as it moved into Barron county. Reports came in of Yards turning White in the City of Barron, I also herd corn was stripped bare just north of Barron. then the storm moved southeast over the Dallas Chetek areas. no reports there. Another line of storms went though southwest St Croix County. where they produced some severe wind dammage. Trees and power lines were reported down in Hudson and Houlton, also a tree down on a car was reported just northwest of River Falls, so some people will spend the weekend cleaning up. Weather should be Sunny and nice this weekend
