Sunny conditions in Northern Rochester July 25th 2012.
After a 1 day break another very hot occurred across day across the local area which certainly has not been anything new lately. High temperatures topped out in the low to middle 90s once again. My station had a high of 95.F. Today like the past few have been more about dewpoints which were back in the lower 70s putting heat index values around and over 100.F at all areas. Our heat was the far northern extent of an extremely hot airmass that brought a record breaking heat wave that hit areas just to our south very hard for the past week week. Some of todays highs across other regions include Des Monies,IA 106.F Mason City,IA 99.F Dubuque,IA 101.F La Crosse,WI 97.F Madison,WI 98.F Chicago 101.F
