Some Places Got First Frost of The Season
A Cool High pressure effected our weather for Saturday and Sunday. The Coldest night was Sunday Night across our local area. Some places were near or broke Record low temperatures. Patchy frost likely formed across Burnett County where low temps in the upper 30s were reported. But a report of Widespread frost would not surprise me coming in from Northern Washburn, or Northern Burnett counties because A low temperature of 33.F was reported on a weather station Northwest of Minong.
Warmer temperatures remained in the Southern areas and these areas remained Completely frost free. I woke up to check for frost, and There was No frost at my location, The low on my weather station was 43.F The Growing season has not ended across most sections of the area... But a few spots in Northern Washburn/Burnett counties, The growing season may have ended, I have no way of for surely knowing but I know it would be close.
