We were clipped by a clipper system moving southeast, mainly western areas saw a Trace of snow.
Weather map for Sunday, Sunday Night and Monday
Warmer more mild air will move in from the west tonight, and we will have warmer weather for Sunday With the warmer air will come a chance for some drizzle or light snow, nothing heavy. Because the ground is frozen and below 32.F the warmer more humid air may cause some fog or freezing fog so watch out for that. Sunday Night temps will not fall off to much low to mid 20s is what should end up with. there is a chance for Snow showers, light snow that is with not much accumulation. Monday will be colder with highs back into the upper 20s and low 30s with a slight chance for snow. and the best chance for snow north.
Looking ahead Monday Night there will still be a slight chance for snow mainly east and early in the evening. Then we will have clearing skies. Looks like a Sunny warmer strip of weather for Tuesday though Thanksgiving! Sunny weather with temps in the low to upper 30s is what it looks like right now! we should have Quite weather for Thanksgiving this year unlike some years! looks like we will not have a white Thanksgiving, but there is still a chance!
Severe Thunderstorm days over the past season.
Just a statement I thought would be neat to share. here in Clayton,WI We had Severe Thunderstorm conditions 4 times during the season. The First one was May 25th when a storm moved out of Minnesota and caused an F3 Tornado in the northeast Metro of Hugo,MN in the Twin Cities. This storm moved east into Wisconsin and dropped Penny sized hail. I also reported that it brought gusty winds and heavy rain in a short amount of time. The Second time was July 14th when a line of Thunderstorms with a section of the line being tornado warned. I reported that rotation was 3-4 miles north of Clayton, while the gusty side went right though here and caused a pine tree top to be snapped off. The Third event was also in July, a line of Thunderstorms and gust front moved quickly though, and blew a large tree into a field near my house. Also reported very heavy rain with 1 inch in total in just 40 minutes. The Last event occurred during early Fall September 17th Storms quickly developed north of Amery and moved east I reported dime sized hail, ripping out Turing fall leaves.
While these were the only 4 times I report actual Severe Thunderstorm conditions we had many strong storms this past season, We went under a Tornado Warning with Sirens sounding 2 times and we were under a Severe Thunderstorm Warning 3 times. The information for this statement came from my Precipitation Book, Written by me.
Dirk of my neighboring county- Barron County has also
